Fri, October 30, 1942
We stayed with the Marines last nite & the boys really treated us nice. We were in the flying field at 8:00 & by 11:00 we had the plane ready to go. At 1:30 we finished the last shot & left for our camp. We arrived at Culver City at 5:00 & at 5:30 I was on my way home.
Sat, October 30, 1943
Nothing happened today. We played 4 games of roller ball & then just fooled around until after lunch. Most of the day was taken up with bunk fatigue. Played poker tonite & won £2. Got in bed at 11:00.
Mon, October 30, 1944
Left Camp Roberts by air today for CA. Was air bound at 9:00 & stopped at Cleveland, OH and Chicago, IL. Stayed over night at Grand Island, NE.
